Join us as we mark the 75th anniversary of the laying of the first stone by the King of Norway, which began the restoration of this church after bomb damage in WW2.
We will be joined by fifty members of Nidarosdomens Guttekor – the choir of boys and men from Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim (where Olaf is buried) for a special service of Holy Communion. The service will incorporate a commemoration of the seventy fifth anniversary since the laying of the restoration stone by the King of Norway – which started the process of rebuilding the church after WW2.
We welcome the priest and people of the Norwegian Church in Rotherhithe. Other special guests will include The Archdeacon of Charing Cross and a representative of the Ambassador of Norway. We will have a parish party in the churchyard afterwards. The service is free to attend but please register at this link to help us with catering.
Donations towards the cost of which are gratefully received.
