A huge thank you to The Reverend Paula Hollingsworth, Chaplain of St Paul’s Cathedral, for welcoming a parish group on a visit to the cathedral.
The more energetic among us climbed to the top of the dome while the rest of us toured the crypt and cathedral floor.
We saw the memorial to Mary Hudson, our first organist (and one of the first female organists in the country) which was discovered by Sophia Owen.
It was a great privilege to be seated in the Quire for Choral Evensong, sung by the cathedral choristers.
