This year the address will be given by Jacqui Stanford on Pepys and people of the Plague.
JACQUI STANFORD was born in Jamaica. At Cambridge University she became the first post-doctoral fellow in her department, then lecturing on Race Studies at Cambridge and Manchester. In the USA, Jacqui worked as a professor and was also a review consultant on President Obama’s ‘Race to the Top’ initiative. Following a life changing accident, she now focuses on research on history and ethnicity.
