In accordance with the House of Bishops\u2019 Policy

<\/span>All God\u2019s Children\u2019 <\/i>(2010) <\/b>and the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy o<\/b>ur church is committed to:<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Promoting a safer environment and culture.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The Parish

<\/span>Safeguarding Officer (CSO) to work with the incumbent and the PCC to implement
<\/span>policy and procedures.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Safely recruit, train and support all those with any responsibility for children, young
<\/span>people and adults
<\/span>to have the confidence and
skills to recognise and respond to abuse.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Ensure that there is
appropriate insurance cover for all activities involving children and adults
undertaken in the name of the parish.<\/span><\/p>

on the Parish website the details of who to contact if there are safeguarding
concerns or support needs.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span><\/span>Listen to and take seriously all those who disclose abuse.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

and adults when a safeguarding concern of any kind arises, following House of
Bishops guidance, including notifying the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA)

<\/span><\/span>Offer support to victims\/survivors of abuse regardless of the type of abuse,

<\/span><\/span>Care for and monitor
<\/span>any member of the church
<\/span>community who may pose a risk to children and adults whilst maintaining appropriate

<\/span><\/span>Ensure that health and safety policy,
<\/span>procedures and risk assessments are in place

<\/span><\/span>Review the implementation of the Safeguarding Policy, Procedures and Practices at least annually.<\/span><\/span><\/p>
